Donations - Give the gift of literacy – For our kids, for jobs, for our community

• To Donate quickly, easily and securely, click on the Donate Now through CanadaHelps.org button at the upper right of any page.  Income tax receipts will be issued.  Thank you for your support!

• Donations to our Learners’ Fund support learner bursaries, class field trips and workshops.

• Learner bursaries are given to learners who are moving on to further studies.  Bursaries can change lives, as they help people get through the financially challenging first month of school.

• Workshops make learning practical and relevant, providing skills that people need at home, at work and in the community.

• Class field trips to CBU plays, local museums and special events help our learners become more engaged in the community, which makes our communities stronger.

• Donations can also be mailed directly.  Click on this link for a printable version of the form below and mail it with your donation to Adult Learning Association of Cape Breton County, PO Box 1283, B1P 6J9.  Income tax receipts will be issued.

Income tax receipts will be issued for all donations.

Bursary Award Recipients

The Learner Bursary Program gives financial assistance to learners who have complete an Adult Learning Association program and are moving on to attend another educational institution.

The Adult Learning Association is pleased to announce the bursary winners for 2011-12.  They are:
